Forum 2010 (This Saturday)

Dear Fellow Classicists,

Thanks to all the schools who have responded and are coming to forum on Saturday. We are expecting at least forty people from schools as far away as Greenville. We are very excited about forum and would encourage the teachers who are planning to come to contact Mrs. Seaman via email at shuynh@richlandone.org during the week -especially if you are bringing anyone who may require a modified meal option i.e. vegetarian- for a briefing on where to park and the details of the registration process which will begin shortly before 9:00am on Saturday. We are planning to wrap up the celebrations etc. around 3pm to allow ample return time for the students with longer trips home.
Please check the links to the right side of the page and encourage any interested students (even if the student is not able to attend the forum or if your school is not attending forum but you are still interested) to fill out the application forms for the state offices. [Fill it out in a word doc and send it in to Ms. Seaman via email this week or bring it on Saturday.] One of our chief goals is to install a full and capable panel of officers for next year so that there will be both a workshop and forum. The best way to spread our love of Greek and Latin is through sharing it with others and I would love for each of the offices to be held by students from different schools.

I look forward to seeing you Saturday

Ave atque Vale,
Stuart Teal, President

Salve!
We apologize for the inconvenience, but the site had to be closed for maintenance on 2/2/2010 due to a hack. We have regained control of the site, via a total deletion, however we will not be able to re-post the forms for forum until late afternoon on 2/3/2010. Please check back in the evening or after 2/3 for the information concerning registration for the state forum to be held at Dreher High school on March 20.
